Retaliatory Discharge
While Wisconsin does not have a so-called “whistleblower” protection statute, Wisconsin employees are still protected from unlawful discharge against employees who fulfil a statutory obligation to prevent wrongdoing (i.e.: reporting a crime), opposing unlawful discriminatory employment practices, or filing a complaint, testifying, or assisting in a proceeding under the Wisconsin Fair Employment Act, or filing a workers’ compensation claim.
If you believe you are a victim of Retaliatory Discharge please don’t hesitate to contact the Wisconsin Hammer law firm, Dworkin & Maciariello, for a free case assessment, by calling 262-999-9999.
